Nutritional Yeast Flakes are a deactivated yeast from the Saccharomyces cerevisiae strain which can be used as an ingredient or condiment. This plant based protein source has significant amounts of energy providing B vitamins. Nutritional Yeast is known to have a tangy, cheesy, creamy flavor and texture, making it perfect for sprinkling on popcorn, salads or for blending into hot foods! Being a complete protein with 9 essential amino acids, Anthony’s Large Nutritional Yeast Flakes can be great cheese substitute for Vegans.
Anthony’s Nutritional Yeast Flakes are large sized, Non-GMO, Vegan and Gluten Free. It is fortified with B Vitamins including Folic Acid and B12 that is produced by natural fermentation – not synthetic or animal source).
Plant-based protein- Just 1-½ tablespoons of Anthony’s Nutritional Yeast contains 8 grams of complete protein, making it a protein source for a vegan or vegetarian diet.
Vitamins and minerals- Packed with B vitamins, including naturally fermented vitamin B12, as well as amino acids, other vitamins, and minerals, Anthony’s Nutritional Yeast is a great way to add more nutrients to your diet.
Good source of fiber- There are 4 grams of fiber in 1-½ tablespoons of Anthony’s Nutritional Yeast. Fiber can be beneficial for digestion, satiety, and more.

1-1/2 cups Anthony’s Blanched Almond Flour 1/4 teaspoon salt 1/2 teaspoon baking soda 1/2 cup butter, cubed 3 tablespoons Anthony’s Oat Fiber 1/3 cup Anthony’s Nutritional Yeast 1 egg Instructions: Preheat oven to 350° Fahrenheit and grease a baking sheet. In a mixing bowl, mix together the almond flour, salt, and baking soda. Cut in butter until coarse crumbs are formed. Add oat fiber, nutritional yeast, and egg and mix well. Pat dough out on an almond-floured counter 1/2″ thick. Cut into rounds with a biscuit cutter or round cookie cutter. Transfer to prepared baking sheet. Bake for 15 minutes.
Vegan Cheddar Cheese
¼ cup coconut butter ⅓ cup coconut milk ½ cup Anthony’s Nutritional Yeast ⅛ teaspoon Anthony’s Citric Acid ⅛ teaspoon garlic powder ⅓ teaspoon Anthony’s Xanthan Gum ¼ teaspoon Anthony’s Ground Turmeric ⅓ teaspoon salt Instructions: In a food processor, combine all ingredients. Process until very smooth and combined. Transfer to a small square container lined with plastic wrap and freeze until set. Slice or grate as desired.
2 egg whites 1/4 cup olive oil 3/4 cup nutritional yeast 2/3 cup Anthony’s Almond Flour 2 tablespoons Anthony’s Oat Fiber 1/2 teaspoon baking soda 1/4 teaspoon salt
Preheat oven to 350° Fahrenheit and grease a baking sheet. In a mixing bowl, combine egg whites and olive oil; mix well. Add nutritional yeast, almond flour, oat fiber, baking soda, and salt; mix well. Press out into a 1/16″ thick rectangle on baking sheet. Poke with a fork and score with a pizza cutter into cracker shapes. Bake for 10 minutes. Cut/break apart crackers and bake for another 5-10 minutes, or until crisp.
